Killing Bacteria - Healing people

We provide sophisticated solutions for treating dermatology disorders. Bringing together technical innovation and the most advanced biological knowledge of bacteria in the skin, Inwound is on a mission to revolutionize the treatment of an array of skin disorders.

we focus on what is important

We fight bacteria with light. It is a very effective treatment!

Bacteria are one of the main dangers to human health and natural healing. Infection interferes with the body’s ability to repair itself. The bacteria destroy healthy cells and tissue, which causes your immune system to fight the infection which increases inflammation. This can in some cases cause the immune system to be unable to eradicate the bacteria.

In serious cases the bacteria can spread and worsen the damage to such a degree that there is no other solution than amputating the affected area.

One of the main problems currently is that antibiological treatments are ineffective, as bacteria often is located in the tissue and produces biofilm to protect themselves against such treatments.

We have the solution

By using specifically chosen wavelengths we have optimized the effect of our device to efficiently kill the harmful bacteria deep in the tissue while leaving human cells unharmed. Our FlashHeal provides a non-invasive, fast and painless treatment.

This allows us to eradicate the bacteria in their protective biofilm without the pain associated with debridement, expensive topical dressings, or slow anti-biotic pills.

By getting rid of the bacteria, we give the body the best possible conditions to complete the healing process and returning to a non-injured state.

Doctors are already using our device, and clinical testing is underway. The response from the doctors that use FlashHeal have been even better than our own most positive estimates.

By eradicating the bacteria and helping patients to heal their injuries we give them their everyday life back, free from pain and worries. So they can focus on what is important, living life to the fullest.

Killing bacteria without harming human cells

How we kill bacteria in deeper tissue layers without harming human cells: Our FlashHeal device main feature is using blue light at a high power output. This is used to target and trigger a reactive oxygen species (ROS) cascade leading to the destruction of the bacteria cell membrane, killing the bacteria. Since there is no target for the specific blue light we have chosen in human cells, we are only destroying bacteria while leaving the human cell intact.

Additionally, we combine our treatment with other light waves to energize the healthy cells. This has many benefits like enhancing mitochondrial activity, leading to increased ATP (energy) production. This fuels the cellular repair processes, improving blood circulation, which brings more oxygen and nutrients. Additionally, it modulates inflammatory responses, preventing excessive swelling while promoting immune function.

01. FLASHHEAL

FlashHeal dramatically improves a wide array of dermatology disorders by applying energy in the form of light to the affected area. Completely pain free and with no harm to human tissue, FlashHeal reduces bacteria while stimulating the production of ATP and increasing the blood flow, all in all resulting in reduced healing times.

The FlashHeal device has a completely new approach to light therapy and uses many different biochemical approaches to ensure that we can deliver the highest dose of bacteria-killing light deep into the tissue. This is what makes us unique and sets us far apart from other kinds of light therapy.

FlashHeal is a class II medical device and is approved by the FDA for use in general and plastic surgery and in dermatology under the Premarket Submission number: K233077

02. MIMR SYSTEM

MIMR Optics is your go-to hand-held device for advanced imaging needs. Capture high-resolution standard images with exceptional clarity, precisely measure distances to your target area, and explore the detailed world of bioluminescence (fluorescence) imaging. Additionally, MIMR Optics offers accurate thermal imaging based on the heat emitted by the target area, making it a comprehensive tool for various applications.
